One of the guys my husband works with turned 40 this month, so guess whose wife was nominated to make the card? LOL I tried out my new "sanded" background stamp from Stampin' Up, and ran kitchen foil through my cuttlebug for the first time too! Don't you just love the "workshop" look of the diamond plate embossing folder? I finished off the rustic look with brads that look like little screws.
Love that foil idea, must give it a go. This is a great male card :)
ReplyDeleteI had to fold over the foil a few times to thicken it up, and I also found it difficult to work with because it is so easy to press the embossed image flat, but so effective. We sell thick rolls of aluminium at work, so I am going to give that a go soon.
